Abbey Dohring Ahern is the founding member of the commercial brokerage division of Dohring Ahern, which she launched in 2005. Dohring Ahern has been in business for over 30 years in the Tampa Bay Area with headquarters in downtown Tampa. Abbey’s experience is in Landlord and Tenant Representation, both in Sales and Leasing, with a particular focus on urban office and retail properties.

Abbey has participated in several sizable redevelopment projects within downtown Tampa, the Encore, the Channel District and YBOR City and represents several properties in the Westshore Business District. In 2021 alone, Mrs. Ahern participated in over $24 million in transactions involving the sale or lease of real property.

Abbey is immensely involved in her community, evidenced by her participation and leadership roles within the Tampa Downtown Partnership as a board member, chair committee member and incoming President.  She also serves as Vice Chairperson and a Mayoral appointee to the board of directors of the Tampa Historic Streetcar; a member of the Channel District Community Redevelopment Agency; as well as the founder and past President of the Uptown Council/DRANA, an association of commercial property and business owners focused on improving downtown’s commercial district.  From a regional perspective, she remains involved as a past board member and committee chair for CREW – Commercial Real Estate Women Tampa Bay.
